Mason-Tech is an enthusiast owned and operated company dedicated to offering innovative products to fellow enthusiasts.

Owner, Scott Mason (aka scooterman), has been in and around automobiles his entire life. Coming from a heritage of Volkswagen lovers (his father started a VW repair shop in 1961), his love of German autos was inevitable. Fresh out of college, Scott began working as a graphic designer and technical advisor for a large mail order high performance auto supplier in Columbus, Ohio. After 11 years of service, he then spent the next 5 years managing a Central-Ohio based VW/Audi/Porsche mail order company. Mason Technology Advancement, LLC, based in Hilliard, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus), is fulfilling his life's ambition to creating unique products for the cars he loves.


Scott has been actively involved in the VW/Audi community for the past 17 years. Building cars, attending shows and participating in online forums has helped keep his focus abreast of the latest needs of fellow enthusiasts. You may be familiar with some of his projects that have graced the pages of magazines such as PERFORMANCE VW, HOT VW's and EURO TUNER.


Mason-Tech is dedicated to maintaining attention to detail and providing top quality products. Like Scott always says, "If a product is not good enough to put on my car, I won't sell it to the public!"
